The Exam
AP Statistics Exam: Tuesday, May 11, 2027 at 12:00 PM local time.
What to Expect on Exam Day
- Fully digital: Both sections are completed in Bluebook.
- Section I: 42 multiple-choice questions — 90 minutes (50% of score), with 4 answer choices per question.
- Section II: 4 free-response questions — 90 minutes (50% of score), with 10 points per FRQ.
- FRQ 1: Formulate Questions + Collect Data.
- FRQ 2: Analyze Data + Interpret Results.
- FRQ 3: Inference (hypothesis test or confidence interval).
- FRQ 4: Multi-focus question using Practices 2, 3, and 4.
- Bring an approved graphing calculator. Bluebook also includes Desmos; scratch paper and AP Statistics reference information are provided.
